Here are some things to check for every time you ride, every week, and every month since, like with any mechanical equipment, prevention is always preferable to cure. A few minor bike maintenance chores completed ahead of time will help your components last longer and perform better while also extending the time between major repairs.
Each trip:
The acronym for this is Air, Brakes, Chain, and Quick Releases.
A- It’s merely a short reminder to check the air pressure in your tyres.
B – Verifies that your brakes are functioning properly.
C – A clean and sparingly greased chain.

Check that the Quick Release skewers (or bolt-on axles) are installed correctly and securely.
If you have a floor pump with a gauge at home, you can rapidly set the tyre pressure. The mini-pumps work best when used in a moving vehicle. The chain component is simple if you use some nice lube, like Rock’n’Roll Gold.
Each week & Each month:
When performing the daily, weekly, or monthly inspection, if you discover any problems, it may be time to have your bike checked out.
